Artist’s Statement: “I need to laugh, and when the sun is out, I’ve got something I can laugh about.” A line from an old Beatle’s song quickly sums up what I am about as an artist and as a man. Humor is medicine to me and a powerful weapon / shield against all manner of darkness. Not in everything I paint, but for the majority of my work there is something I have smiled or laughed about and wish to pass along.
Jolly IS my real name.
Jim Jolly lives in Little Rock Ark. He is an artist and a musician.
